Erasmus+ training course “Step Forward” took place in Thessaloniki, Greece in 22-30 November, 2017.
This project brought together 39 young people from 10 countries (Greece, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Egypt, Finland, Algeria, Georgia, Bulgaria and Italy).
During the project participants explored the information about the Erasmus+ program and discovered the opportunities that the action of youth mobility offers. City tour lead us to the conclusion that people have lack of the knowledge about Erasmus+ programs.
We had NGO market and represented our organizations (ARC EN CIEL - Algeria, Power no borders - Egypt, Modern Youth Public Union - Azerbaijan, Future in Our Hands Youth - Armenia, DRONI - Georgia, SKUNK - Finland, CSC - Italy, Open Sense - Latvia, Prosveta -Bulgaria, AENAO - Greece) to build a ground for future partnership. Exchanging the main problems in our countries impacted us to make groups including the same aim to find solution and we started planning new projects to cooperate between our organizations and involve youth people to open their social horizon.
Furthermore, 4 months after the implementation of the mobility, one representative from each country will attend the follow-up meeting in Thessaloniki (7-9 March 2018), in order to evaluate the project for its effectiveness and sustainability.
This project was supported under Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission by the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation (Ίδρυμα Νεολαίας και Δια Βίου Μάθησης), the National Agency in Greece.
