A small town Kobuleti on the black sea coast hosted our project “Show Up!” where youth workers, trainers and facilitators from 6 different countries – Germany, Estonia, Armenia, Ukraine, Italy and Georgia gather together to share best practices how to increase the visibility of youth work. Besides, our guest from Kyrgyzstan joined the project as part of a job shadowing to exchange some info and experiences.
Three of our members – Giorgi Kikalishvili, Ketevan Jinoridze and Irinka Tedoradze with other participants were working together, sharing own experiences and knowledge and planning dissemination strategies how to promote the organizations and their activities.
During the training course the participants implemented workshops with practical sessions to raise their competences in Social Media, External Communication, Writing Reports and Blogs, Creating a Visual Identity and PR Materials, Taking Pictures and Making Short Movies.
After the workshops and coming up with new ideas the participants with their national groups started to use gained knowledge in practice and to create something new according to their organizations needs.
As a result, they created new logos, brochures, leaflets and flyers, also a fundraising campaign and a pdf-presentation for press conferences.
Besides the sessions, we enjoyed a lot together in the beach, joined free walking tour in Batumi and experienced Georgian hospitality.
This project was supported by the German National Agency under the European Union Erasmus+ program.
Looking forward for the Follow-Up projects!
