Europa Fair 🎡

December 3, 2019

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s programme for education, training, youth and sport. It offers a whole range of opportunities in the EU, as well as the Partner countries – which include Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

European Solidarity Corps (ESC) is the new EU initiative, which matches young people with relevant volunteer projects or work in their own country or abroad, benefiting communities and people around Europe.

Europa Fair is promoting international dialogue and the aims of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps, through short info- and taster sessions, live music, food and creative workshops. The objective of this public event is to present what is available for young people at home and abroad.

What is more, we will be showcasing our recent achievements, with a focus on European Solidarity Corps, capacity-building, training and youth exchanges.

The event is organised by Erasmus+ Info Centre Georgia – and European Solidarity Corps, supported by SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus (EECA) – in cooperation with Youth Association DRONI and Tbilisi Youth Centres Union.

Planned activities (happening simultaneously, unless indicated otherwise*):

  • Europa Talk* – interactive discussion, sharing the experiences of taking part in European Solidarity Corps and/or the Erasmus+ programme – focusing on personal growth and development

  • Europa Photo Marathon – the event will be a chance to see the winning entries, finishing with a prize-giving ceremony and official opening of the exhibition

  • Forum Theatre – immersive theatre, presenting the audience with a scenario – focusing on issues and challenges of the youth in the modern society
